In celebration of Financial Literacy Month, the California Department of Financial Protection Innovation (DFPI) will be hosting an in-depth webinar April 23 from 12 – 1 p.m. PSTdiscussing factors influencing consumers’ financial behaviors.

The discussion panel features industry experts who will share how to better understand what factors impact your financial habits and how they affect your relationship with spending. Panelists will also discuss important California programs that can help support and educate consumers.

Panelists for the “Mind on Your Money – A Look into Consumer Spending” include:

  • Stephanie M. Tully, Ph.D., associated professor of marketing, University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business
  • Helaine Olen, managing editor, American Economic Liberties Project
  • Joanna K. Karczewska (Doran), Ph.D., MSW, associate professor, School of Social Work, California State University, Los Angeles

Kue Lee, the DFPI’s director of targeted outreach, will moderate.
