NATIONAL FINANCIAL SERVICES LAW FIRM CONTINUES RAPID GROWTH WITH ADDITION OF DYNAMIC ASSOCIATE ANNIE WILLETT

October 14, 2024, Dallas, TX — Garris Horn LLP has continued its rapid expansion, adding a new associate in September 2024, Annie Willett. Annie’s diverse legal background allows her to assess each situation from multiple perspectives, and make her a standout at efficiently and effectively advising the firm’s clients.

Before joining Garris Horn, Annie had a number of impressive and varied positions. She previously worked in private practice advising business clients on a myriad of issues, in particular guiding government contractors through the intricacies of litigation and high-stakes contract negotiations.  Annie also clerked for the Honorable Carolyn N. Lerner at the United States Court of Federal Claims—a court that primarily hears monetary claims against the United States—where she gained valuable insight into the process and challenges of litigating against the federal government.  In addition, Annie was a full-time faculty member at The George Washington University Law School where she instructed law students on oral and written advocacy skills, adding academic rigor to her practical, results-driven approach.  Drawing on these experiences, Annie offers the firm’s clients an efficient option to obtain practical and thoughtful advice on issues of all types and sizes, including litigation, transactional, and compliance matters. Annie graduated from the George Washington University Law School with honors in 2020.

“This is a game changer for our firm and clients,” said Richard Horn, Co-Managing Partner at Garris Horn. “We’ve had the pleasure of working with Annie before, and we were so impressed that we had to add her to our team. Her wealth of experience, including a federal judicial clerkship, private practice, and academia, is already bringing huge benefits to our clients. With Annie onboard, we’re strengthening our ability to provide laser-focused, efficient legal solutions to our clients, no matter the size or complexity of the project.”

“I am thrilled to join such an amazing firm and group of people” said Willett. “I am excited to bring my broad legal experience to bear to help our clients.”
