Senate Banking Committee Sets Vote On CFPB Director Nomination

The Senate Banking Committee will vote Thursday on a slate of President Donald Trump’s nominees, including his picks to lead the CFPB, Jonathan McKernan, and the Council of Economic Advisers, Stephen Miran.

The panel will hold an 11 a.m. executive session Thursday, where they will also vote on William Pulte’s nomination to serve as director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency and Jeffrey Kessler’s nomination to be Commerce’s under secretary of Commerce for industry and security.
